| 4 - 8 pm | Fourth of July Barbecue Bring the family, spread out your blanket and relax and enjoy a great meal while waiting for the parade to start. Free marching band concerts in the Old Whaling Church before and after the parade are fun for the whole family. Admission is free and food is sold a la carte. It's a great place to have a casual dinner after the parade and before the fireworks! | 5 pm | Independence Day Parade The Town of Edgartown's 4th of July parade is a long-standing tradition filled with fun for the entire family. As the parade winds through downtown and around each corner, you will see kilt-clad bagpipers, veterans, floats promoting the island's many non-profit organizations, firetrucks, animals and a whole lot of candy and excitement.
